The Lao Coco range of handicrafts is ever expanding as the imaginations of our designers and artisans test the limits of their local recycled materials. Coconut wood and shell, eggshell, buffalo horn, recycled timber and steel are the main hard materials with textiles, mulberry paper and leather used to finish and cover certain items.

Practical goods such as coasters, vases, bowls and boxes compliment a range of games, ornaments and jewellery. These inexpensive goods are made by Lao artisans trained at our workshop and part of the profits received from their sale goes towards educational development in Laos. Small commercial orders for export to shops are considered, and customised goods such as chess or backgammon sets are one of our specialities.
